Wollemi — Privacy Policy

Wollemi collects no data, that is essentially the whole policy. The App Store requires it spelled out, and you are entitled to know exactly what an app holding a credential to your git server does with it.
What is collected
Nothing. There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, no device fingerprinting and no account system.
What the app stores, and where
- Your server address and access token, in the iOS Keychain, encrypted by the system and readable only by Wollemi on your device.
- Certificate fingerprints, if your server uses a self-signed certificate, so the app can warn you if one ever changes.
- A preference or two, such as your light or dark appearance choice.
- A cache of responses your server has already sent, so the app is not slow.
All of it stays on your device. Signing out deletes the token, the server address, any trusted certificates and the cache.
What leaves your device
Requests to the server address you type in, and nothing else. Your access token is sent to that server and to no other host: if a README on your instance links to an image elsewhere, the image is fetched without your credentials attached.
Third parties
None. No SDKs that phone home, no ad networks, no attribution services.
Children
Wollemi is a developer tool with no social features, no content of its own and no data collection. It is rated 4+ and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Since the app collects nothing, any change would concern what it stores on your own device rather than what is shared.
